Staber Industries has been family owned and operated since 1976 in Groveport, Ohio. Staber began re-manufacturing laundry equipment in 1976 from manufacturers such as Maytag, Whirlpool, GE and Speed Queen. Based on this experience, we were able to implement design improvements for a new type of clothes washer and have patented a unique design that can clean more effectively than circular tubs. Staber washers have been produced in Groveport, Ohio since 1993. Most sales have been shipped factory-direct to the customer. Staber also has technologies for laser cutting, metal fabrication, vapor degreasing and powder-coat painting. Staber Industries has expanded its manufacturing processes to drying cabinets that serve the medical, fire and laundry equipment sectors, as well as, other product lines.
Staber is the only U.S. manufacturer of an energy efficient top loading tumble action washer. Staber has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Popular Science ‘Best of What’s New’, Consumers Digest ‘Best Buy Issue’, Country Living, Countryside Magazine, Farm Show, Arrington’s Bed & Breakfast, Appliance Service News, Columbus Monthly, and Home Power magazine.
